This course introduces the essential front desk responsibilities involved in supporting patient visits within a dental clinic using axiUm. Learners gain a practical understanding of how patient information is managed, how visits are tracked, and how financial transactions are processed.

The focus is on understanding workflows that support smooth clinic operations and accurate patient records.

In this course, you will learn to:

  • Search for and add patient records

  • Capture and manage patient demographic, guarantor, and insurance information

  • Understand patient visit statuses, including sign in and check in

  • Support patient check out processes

  • Process patient payments and financial transactions

  • Upload or capture patient consent forms
